Griffin LED Grow Light Overview

The GRIFFIN is a modular rack LED system. Choose from multiple different spectrum bars to create a unique spectrum with independent control of each type of spectrum bar. We currently have 4x different bars to choose from.

  • The full spectrum bar offers the perfect blend of photosynthetic wavelengths. This bar is the main workhorse of the Griffin Advanced LED system.
  • An independently controlled UVA 395nm bar gives the grower the ability to use a UVA spectrum for specific times of the day over the course of both the veg and flower cycles.
    • The shorter wavelength of UVA will reduce stretch and create an inhospitable environment for common IPM issues.
    • UVA will also increase cuticle thickness and maintain plant vigor.
    • During flower and ripening UVA will aid in resin and terpene development.
  • 520nm pure green bar – the science is still out on how affective and what pure green light actually stimulates in the cannabis plant – but bro-science theories include –
    • Helping other wavelengths penetrate through leaves and deeper into the canopy.
    • Stimulating the lessor used Chlorophyll B power plants to balance with the more common Chlorophyll A that is specifically targeted with pure blue, daylight whites, warm whites, and 660nm deep reds.
    • Green light may positively stimulate the microbe biome in the root zone – increasing aerobic activity and working synergistically with plant exudates for nutrient transport.
    • Create unique color expression in flowers due to the fact that this specific wavelength was not used during indoor cannabis breeding in the past.
  • 730nm Far Red – use this independently controlled far red bar in conjunction with the full spectrum bar as your plants are waking up to stimulate the Emerson enhancement affect. Use the 730nm Far Red independently at the end of the 12 hour photoperiod to stimulate phytochrome Pr and Pfr hormone shift leading to faster bud setting – shortening your harvest time on the front end of the flower cycle.

  • Extension Cords Available (coming soon) for adding Griffin Advanced LED system bars in-between your existing grow lights to supplement in new spectrums
